Objects for living with nature

Tildita: quiet objects, thoughtful design

Rugs, lighting and objects made from natural materials — and materials that can be grown. Wool and cotton. Clay and paper. Mycelium, bacterial Scoby and plant roots. Some are woven. Some are shaped. Some are grown.

All are made to live with.

About us

  • Tildita was shaped between Barcelona and Amsterdam.
  • It began with rugs made for our own children — objects designed to be played with, lived with, and kept in the home.
  • Today, Tildita creates rugs, lighting and objects using only natural materials: wool, cotton, clay, paper, mycelium, scoby and plant roots.
  • We work with both traditional craft and material experimentation. Some objects are woven, some shaped by hand, and some grown.
  • Our rugs are produced in small editions from 100% New Zealand wool and 100% cotton, with materials selected for durability, tactility and everyday use.
  • Across all our work, we aim to make objects that feel part of the living environment rather than separate from it.
